Elephant in the Festival

Ok, my last post about Elephants... This is the snap of an Elephant festival occured in Kerala, Southern India Every year... You will see hundreds of elephants get decorated... Many asked me a question, dose the temple own all these elephants...? Absolutely not... Most of the temples have 1, 2 or more elephant, so on the festival date elephants from different temples join together for the view..  Well, its a view every one will enjoy... Plan your next trip to Kerala.. Its a tourist place aswell..  Just do a google for trip to kerala..

Elephant Working on Woods - A Common view in Kerala

Ok, As i stated on my previous post, here is my picture of elephant working in the field..  The picture you are seeing is a wood depo.. Elephant is the major worker over there.. In this picture you are seeing one elephant, however usuallly some depos in Kerala have upto 10 elephants...

So the work, the elephant on the picture have to take all these woods and load it in the trailer... It will be going to a wood factory... The factory have elephants too.. It take the woods and put the machine to build furniture... The picture you are seeing is Kerala, Southern part of India and I am SH from EyeeVision...

Elephant in the Rain

This is a common view in Kerala which is located in the southern part of Kerala... Peoples use Elephant for many works.. As an example, peoples use elephant to pull up big tree's, decorate and have them ride in the festivals,  basically instead of buldoser or big CAT equipments, Kerala peoples use elephant.. Sounds interesting right... I am from the same place, we used to own an elephant..
